| Cam Gigandet will star opposite Paul Bettany in PRIEST, a horror Western directed by Scott Stewart. Adapted by Cory Goodman from a TokyoPop comic book, PRIEST is set in a world ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampires and follows a warrior priest (played by Paul Bettany) who turns against the church to track down a murderous band of vampires who have kidnapped his niece. Cam Gigandet plays a young wasteland sheriff who is part vampire. He partners with Bettany to save the girl he loves, the niece. That latter part has yet to be cast.
TRADUZIONE:Ancora vampiri per la star di Twilight Cam Gigandet. L'attore affiancherà Paul Bettany in Priest, horror western diretto da Scott Stewart per la Screen Gems. Ispirato all'omonimo suggestivo fumetto della TokyoPop, adattato da Cory Goodman, Priest è ambientato in un universo post-apocalittico dove il mondo conosciuto ha ormai alle spalle secoli di guerra tra uomini e vampiri. In quest'atmosfera da tregenda si muove un prete (Paul Bettany) che ha abbandonato la chiesa per dare la caccia a una banda di feroci vampiri che gli hanno rapito la nipote. Cam Gigandet interpreterà un giovane sceriffo senza patria, in parte vampiro, che si unisce a Bettany per salvare la ragazza di cui è innamorato, la nipote del prete. Attualmente è in corso il casting per scegliere la protagonista femminile che affiancherà i due interpreti sul set.Ne avevo già sentito parlare di questo manga...chissà come sarà sul grande schermo  Fonte1Fonte2 |
